Some of you might know what Im talking about. Others will definitely be very confused about this. If you are one of them, then feel free to read the following (If not you can skip to the questions)

Left Brain:

-Words
-Books
-Labels...and so on...

This is the more literal side of your brain.


Right Brain:

-Colours
-Pictures
-Maps/diagrams...and so on...

This is the more visual side of your brain.

But if your still a bit like "what is she talking about?" in the back of your mind then I guess I'll do an example:

If you like writing stories and your favourite subject is English but your no good at art or any other form of visual things, then your probably left brained.

Now...Questions for you--

-Which are you, left brained or right brained? Please give a reason for why
-What is your easiest way of learning? By diagrams/maps or by words and definition?

i bet i am both......
i like writing stories and english is one of my fav subs... but i also enjoy art and isn't too bad at it =D.....

so i am in da middle of my brain hehe!!!

i learn from both sids of my brain.. i can do diagrams and definitions... depends on subjects =D

no i dont think you're the odd one cos im like that as well, i like to read, write and english was also one of my fav subjects in school, but then i also love the creative subjects.

i am both too but i think a little more of the right brain. i do like to read a lot and so but i've always been very good at creative things ^_^

lol..its about what side of your brain do u lean towards more, like say the left side is more literal i.e. books, writing, reading etc, and the right side is more visual i.e drawing, pictures, art etc. Basically just which way do u learn more easily, literally or visually or maybe both.

Wellz I think I'd be both too ... the classic example would be Extension 2 English I think ... you have to write something highly original and creative ... lolz ...

Hmmmm ... I do all Englishy stuff but I love paintings and pictures and though I dun like to wear it, I like colours too!! =D

I'm much a right brain lol. mostly my left brian dosen't work well lol

i think i'm a left... i'm more logical and i like thinking processes out... i have ZERO creativity hahah :lol:

lol interesting...i'm pretty sure i'm both though...i'm good at math and art...i like reading books and people tell me that i have a good sense of directions and i can read maps easily =)

but for some reason whenever i come out from a store in the mall...i have no idea which way i'm suppose to go...

I thought they defined people more left/right brained by trying to close your palms together (interlocked them) and see if the right or left thumb comes on top. If it's right, then you are more right-brained. If it's left, then more left-brained.

Besides, right brain makes use of your creativitiy, but so do writing stories, which comes under books, and literature.

I think that more right-brained is all those more creative and artistic stuff, so better in literature , arts, music.

But left-brained is all those logical, maths, science.

Makes sense? I suppose it depends on people too.

I draw and paint a lot. I was once praised for a story of mine in school though, but that was really not a great story... XD Just my teacher liked it a lot... hehehe... ^^ And don't write so much.

As for learning... I need to mark everything with a color. I can remember exactly where things are. Like... I wrote this down on this page just beneath this and that on the left at the bottom...
I can tell what it looks like, but I can't remember what's written there... XD Hehehe. Hate it. ^^
I noticed in archaeology class that it's easy for me to imagine what a room looks like in 3D just by looking at the map. ^^
I thought everyone can do that, but I noticed that some other can't.. Guess I'm right brained... XD
I'm no good at this logical things... ^^

I guess I'm left 'brained' (if there's suchh a word), do read a lot of books.


Arts and other creative things... no good.. I'm reaaly bad in creating things, although I do have 'feeling' for these kind of things. Just can't make it happen with my hands! :wacko:
