Plot:

This drama is a retelling of a well-know love story between a goddess and a mortal.



The story started off with Goddess Xiao Qi committing a major transgression: going onto Earth. During her time there, she tries to find a cure for her sister who is dying from heartache. Xiao Qi wants to find her sister's lover to make him deny their love so her sister can live again. Xiao Qi meets Dong Yong on earth and starts to love him. But before their relationship can progress, Xiao Qi is ordered back into heaven. As a punishment, she was stripped of all her powers and banished to the mortal realm. She could only regain her goddess status by accomplishing 100 charitable acts.



Alone and helpless, she was rescued by Dong Yong. He taught her what�fs like to be a mortal. And through him, she learned to love and be loved in return.



But, gods are forbidden to love mortals. And, when their love affair was discovered, heaven guards descended onto the mortal realm to separate the two lovers. In the ensuing struggle, Dong Yong was severely injured and left to die. Pitying their fate, Xiao Qi�fs sisters sent forth Xiang Xue Hai to save Dong Yong�fs life
Xue Hai then falls in love with Hao Qi, one of Dong Yong's friends. But Hao Qi is currently in love with Sai Jin. So begins this complicated web of love.

Yeah! this is a good series.. :) fell in-love with Hu Ge after watching this drama. I have a copy of this but doesn't have english sub. Still ok though even if I don't understand mandarin. Still made me cry! :)

Was the scene in the very beginning where XQ's father hits DY and he falls from the sky, the ending? Or was it just the story of the teacher and the second sister?

tat is when they met 1000 or so years ago. and now they meet again and pretty much the same thing happens, but that's not the ending. so its like repeated history.

that only part of the story and yes is DG and XQ, but is not the end.

im scared of watching this series because it seems so much like CP... im not sure if i should give it a try or not, im thinking no but i might change my mind...

I started watching this series. I love the series. It's so cute. Hu Ge is a good actor. He is so sweet in this series.

I didn't think it was all that similar to tell you the truth. You should give a shot. It's pretty good.

i really love this series it is so funny somethimes but unfortunatly i can't understand it (no english subs) but i am waiting patiently for them :P because i would love to see and understand the ending :D

awww...so it's a sad ending...i can't stand sad ending, cause i just sit there after the drama and think about it for such a long time^^...lol but it sounds very good...i saw ariel in Love Contract it'll be great to see her in this...

even if its sad, its worth watching. i also hate watching sad endings and there seems to be alot of them. every series i have watched recently all have sad endings.

I won't call in a sad ending but rather an ending openned for interpretation. When they meet each other again in modern times and XQ says, "it's him". It could be that she had a dream about him. Just like what DY went through in the beginning.

hmmm... i was left wondering if the modern ariel at the end is still XQ? meaning like, the ancient fairies still existed at that time? a little crap thinking of that i know, but i just wanted to know if that was still the very same XQ! hee!

I doubt tat she knows tat she is a fairy anymore. I think she just has a feeling she knows hu ge, but not quite sure who he is.

Eventhou it's a sad ending again but it's really really gd dis series. Hope XQ is still XQ in da modern day but not fairy anymore. Mayb she's jz a human being.
