The whole story describes a group of best buddies that grew up in a village that mixed together since they were young and continued on until they grew up to be the leader of a gang. And Guo Pin Chao's character, because of falling in love with the standard criteria of a social class, obedient girl (played by An Yi Xuan), he struggles between the mafia and love.

This is 2OO4 drama. I especially love this drama so much. My first TW Drama and always will be my favorite. I decided to make this thread because since there's so much discussion in her thread on this series.

I dun really like the mafia bits ... they give me the creeps lolz ... =S

Erm, two of 'em died. Yu Hao & Hong Dou. I like mafia series, it's different from those sad dying ones or the love ones only. It has something else to focus on, not just only the love story >D

I like Mafia Series, especially the ones with Andy Lau and Ekin Cheng.
Young and Dangerous was really good. I saw all them. I recommend it too if you are into Mafia movies. ^_^

I'll consider downloading the movies. There aren't too many mafia series =\ I wished that there will be more mafia series like The Outsiders xP

The Outsider is definitely the best mafia series I've ever watch.

Ady is pretty "pre-mafia" and "post-mafia". But I don't like the short hair during those 4 years (The Outsiders 2). Those 3 main guys are kool. I like Blue more than Dylan though...cause he doesn't hurt Ady (emotionally or physically). And he's the quiet-kool. I wanna be like that...haha. :lol:

Part 2 was mad!! But Ady didn't look as nice wen her hair was short....but in part 1 that 4 yrs later wen u first c that scene of her...she looks soooo hOt...My god............I like Blue in da series too..but Dylan is the best ^_^

I loved Blue in this series because he was so understanding and understood her the most (more than dylan). I also thought he looked really hot with that hairstyle. Loved Ady in this series as well.

just i question guys...cause i really can't figure it out Lan Cheng Long who plays Dan Zi looks really familiar, and i know that he was in Meteor Garden I, but what role did he play, he looks so familiar but i just can't place him in any scene in Meteor Garden I...lol anybody know?

i love this series!! it's one of my favorite shows!! i think it's very different from all the other taiwanese idol dramas. it's much more deep and has more meaning that leaves you thinking after the series finishes.

oh and to the question, blue lan zheng long acted as daoming si's fake cousin in meteor garden 1 ^_^
