After watching "X-Men: The Last Stand" today, this question popped in my head.
And what do I wanna do? Of course I wanna have a discussion of powers. xD

If you could have any special power, what would it be? ONE POWER ONLY
Explain please, so there can be a discussion.

Example...invisibility, flying, brute strength, walk thru walls, fast speed, etc............

EXCEPTION: NO control anything with mind (aka psychic). That is too devastating and could destroy the world. (You'll know what I mean, when you watch X-Men.)

I would like to have the power to fly. I wanna fly like a bird. Fly to anywhere I want. Fly on top of high buildings and enjoy the night view xD. Dance on air with your beloved (isnt that romantic? hmm what movies did I saw this scene...lol)

I would want invisibility. I don't know why, but I always had interest in it. Maybe because I can do things being sneaky and no one knows? xD How fun would that be xP Was X-Men 3 good? I'm going to watch it with my friend tomorrow :D

The new X-Men movie was kinda good IMO. Except they kill a few main characters off which is sad. I don't want any of the good people to die =/. Won't spoil for you, watch and see. =D

If you were invisible then you would a very good stalker... haha just kidding!

I want to be able to read minds! Well not the kind where you just walk out on the street and you can hear what everyone is thinking because that would just get so annoying. I want the kind where if you wanted to hear someone's thoughts you could but they don't just speak out to you. That way you can always know what people are thinking about you and it'll always come in handy when the time comes to buy presents! The best thing I like about it... you'll know when a certain cutie likes you ^_^ hahahah

hmm let me think if i could have only one power .... after seeing x-men the series i would like the power of morph. then i could morph into anyone or anything and take over there power :P but as for one power i think i would also choose the power to fly. i think it would be just great to fly into the sky throught the air and go to wherever you want :P:

Lol this thread amuses me too. After watching the third X-men I really like what Jean Grey (or the Phoenix rather) is able to do. No idea what that would be called, but that's the power I'd want.

Time control or teleportation. I'm getting old. Time passes too quickly. After driving time + meals + work + sleep, i get roughly 4 hrs daily to do what i, teddy, want to do. not cool.

haha I knew some1 would pick this....that's why I already put an EXEPTION on this power. =p

i would want to fly....its not TOO powerful so that u would feel overconfident or anthing, but amazing enough so that u can appreciate it. idk...i've just always wanted to fly unaided by machinery...

Seems like everyone wants to fly. This makes me think about Spiderman when Peter's (was that his name, I forgot xD) grandfather said something like, "With great powers comes with great responsibility." So I take back what power I wanted XD. I hate responsibility. xP

For real, time travel is dangerous. Doing 1 wrong thing can affect the present.

Actually I just finished watching a series about how these two girls accidentally traveled back 600 years to the Ming Dynasty. This one girl knew everything that was going to happen because she read a lot of historical books. It was interesting though because she knew that the guy she fell in love with is going to die soon but doesn't matter what she did, she couldn't change history.

ice is strong and useful, it can be become water or ice. you see water everywhere, you can just turn them all into ice. :lol:

But if it has to be something different then I'd choose something with lightning. I'm fascinated with stuff like that.

I watched X-Men yesterday and it pretty good. never actual seen the first two movies though. Jean's scares me. She looked soo freaky when she was all angry and stuff. really powerful though.
I like the idea of being able to fly. i guess it gives you the feeling of freedom. To go anywhere u want.

yep wow I didn't expected anyone else to know that series because I don't think it ever got really famous. I didn't like the cliffhanger ending. I kind of wanted to see them find each other in present time..

Last night I dreamed that I have all kinds of special powers. I just have to say it and I can use that power. Like I was hiding from this one person, I said, "Turn invisible" and I turned invisible immediately...lol. Then, I went to this cave and it was on fire and many people were in danger, I said, "Water power" and immediately my hands shoot out water to put out the fire..rofl. :lol:

So fun!! I wish I can have more of those dreams. :lol: :lol:

i want to be psychic, like jean, but not so scary... jean reeally scares me when shes the phoenix.

I would like to have the power of flying and invisiblities lol!! It would be a dream come true if that happened lol

I have dreams of me having kong fu like in those chinese martial arts series. It feels great to have super powers. I wish they were real.

I think I would want either healing so I can heal animals that are hurt(maybe some human on the way) or the power to control time so I can go back and forth in time.
