Xiao Zhuang Mi Shi
The First Beauty of the Mongol race Dayuer, later known as Empress Xiao Zhuang (Ning Jing), is privately pledged to marry Duoergun (Ma Jingtao). However Emperor Tai Ji (Liu Dekai) takes Dayuer as an imperial concubine and therefore seeds the hostility, quarrels and combats between Duoergun and himself.
Emperor Tai Ji passes away two years later. Duoergun prevails over dissenting views and makes Xiao Zhuang’s son Fu Lin (Yan Kun), subsequently known as Emperor Shun Zhi, the ruler of the Qing empire. To protect the future of her son and the dynasty, Empress Dowager Xiao Zhuang keeps her relationship with Duoergun at arm's length. Shun Zhi is a passionate emperor but his relationship with his true love Concubine Dong-e (Shu Chang) triggers animosity from the imperial family. Although Empress Dowager Xiao Zhuang manages to settle the problem, the depressed Shun Zhi dies not long after. The deaths of her husband, lover and son wears Empress Dowager Xiao Zhuang immensely, but for the continuity of the Qing Empire, she returns to court politics and grooms the son of Shun Zhi, later known as Kang Xi, to be the new ruler

OHH..i watched this show..its sooo gud! but later on..it got pretty crap
especialli how he got betrayed...i mean...from his earlier brain....he wouldn't have made such a crapp mistake in tellin that girl about his plans...the endin wasn't so bad thou.

Oh i've watched this with my dad lol. Its soooo good. and very good lol. My very fav actress is in thier. she's the main character. i love all her movies lol

Oh, I loved the theme songs in this series and Da Yu Er was incredibly beautiful. I thought the actress was brilliant in her portrayal of this strong willed empress. I also liked the relationship between her son, Fu lin and the concubine, Wan ru. It was really cute, though at times I thought the actor who portrayed the son looked kind of weird; he was all pale and skinny.
