Description: DivX Playback?

My Sony DVD player has been pissing me off lately. It won't play my TLBB Dvds that I recently made. So I've been doing some research on DVD players that can play DivX & XviD codecs and I just needed some advice on what to get. I want to save myself time & burn my dvds the way my friend taught me. So far, I've decided that I wanted to get a Toshiba SD-4980 DVD Player with HDMI and DivX Playback but I am not sure if I really want to. Any advices on this DVD player or any others? =\

Chinese dvd players are compatiable with any kind of dvd discs.
Also you have to burned the disc correctly in order for it to be played.

Sony DVD are probably the fussiest ones you can eva get. And I am serious lol!!
I work in a computer shop and I know the stupid Sony is good... but it only takes the best quality discs. Nothing below blank dvd brand TDK. It wun take neything less than i think TDK without giving you damn errors.
Go and buy the cheapest DVD player you can eva get, it is the best =D plays EVERYTHING!! cheap too ^^

My uncle who is a tech freak, said the unknown brands will make DivX & XviD playback DVD players. I got a sony in the living room & my mom's room. Omg, it constantly pisses me off how it won't play TLBB. Cheap dvd players, any brand & model recommendation? xP
