I just started the 2003 version today and it seems pretty good.

yes, i have seen the series and its one of my most favorite series. the characters are really good especially the Mongolian Princess (Zhao Min)

The cast his good but the CG is so annoying!!! i don't like there fight in it seem so irrealist!!! do u notice when alec fight is another one who fight in his place!!!! The body seem not right, because alec is shorter!!!!

i like some of the fighting scenes, some of them dont appeal to me that much it just isnt good.

I love this series! And I especially love Gao Yuan Yuan, she's one of my favorite actresses! haha I was trying to make a photoshop manipulated picture of her and Hu Ge the other day but it's not that easy!

Anyway back to the series, for some reason, I always like ZZR better. I keep hoping that one of these days, someone will decide to do a remake where ZWJ ends up with ZZR.

i never took a liking to ZZR, if she has to do all of that to make ZW to love her then its not really right. he should pick who he likes and thankfully he chose ZM.

I know what you mean. If I was in his shoes then I'm sure I would pick ZM too but it's just weird... I've liked ZZR in basically every single version for some reason. I guess I just have something for that character. Well actually I think I just have a thing for underdogs because I always end up cheering for the "loser" in the love triangle.

i think she would be much better if her shifu didnt make her go all crazy. she was keep on forcing her to make the sect the best and everything.

and whats that guy that loves ZZR? i hate him, he is sooo annoying. :rawr:

well actually wuji did like zzr, but she just couldn't love him back and because her shifu make her turn all evil and stuff, which make him not like her as much anymore. i have the same feeling as spazgal, i like zzr better in every version, but i don't know why. its really strange.
i hated that guy too. he was sooo annoying and kept on bugging zzr. and he shouldn't have been wu dang because he did all that bad stuff.

Gosh I know! ZZR was so kind and caring before the whole Shifu incident. Why did she have to die anyway?! so stubborn... I mean ZWJ offered to help her but she refused.

Yeah I didn't like that guy either but I felt sorry for him for the way he died though :cry:

I'm not too far into the series yet, I but already know I'm going to love ZZR. I don't like characters that are *too* good. Too annoying.

dvd is soo much easier to watch becuz u don't have to keep swtiching vcds. very annoying when u are comfortably sitting on the couch, i'm really lazy,lol.

if zzr's shifu wasn't soo stupid, she would have ended up with wuji. i guess tat y i didn't like the series as much.

I like GYY's character a lot. It's sad that GYY never seems to play characters that get the guy. :(

Yeah I'm lazy too. Although it's worse when you watch an episode and then have to wait a couple of hours for the next episode to download. Especially since they always seem to cut episodes off at suspenseful moments.

I like the 2000 version. Gigi did a good job and I love her. xD

i know, tey always cut it off at really good parts, so u want to kep watching. tat's y chinese series are killers to the eyes.

Back on topic.. I never actually watched the 2000 version from beginning to end, just caught glimpses of it on TV when I went back to China but I liked GiGi too even though she was ZM.

i think i hav watched most of the versions. but i saw them soo long ago can't remember whichones better.

only watch the one with Tony Leung in 1986, the one 2000 with Laurence NG and Gigi and the 2003!!!! i love all of them !!!!! But in the version 2000, u see cleary who Laurence love the most!!!!

Since I didn't watch the whole 2000 one so I don't really know if therew as any difference in the storyline but I can tell from what I saw that the 2003 one was much prettier. I guess it's because it was a big China production compared to the TVB one.

i can't remember the 200 version at all, but i'm sure i watched it before just by the actors.

So far I like ZZR more than ZM too. I think it's because ZM's pretty spoiled and mean at this point.. but I'm only a couple of epsiodes in so I don't know if that will change.

zm was ok at the end, but didn't like her very much at the beginning.

because she is a princess and spoil child, but she very intelligent!!!
