[20070713] HuGe: Remains Traumatized After Traffic Accident; I’m Emotionally In Accord With GuoJing AlreadyHuGe, on comeback after traffic accident, accepted an interview recently, thoroughly described his psychological changes and comeback feelings. As compared to that, sunny disposition and likes to laugh, youth in the past, HuGe today has added a tad more of maturity and feelings of vicissitudes encountered. Looks like that traffic accident not only changed his appearance, it furthermore changed his temperament.
About Traffic Accident: Recalling Now Still Very FearfulAfter comeback, the traffic accident was naturally an unavoidable topic of discussion, HuGe, regarding this, was understanding while at the same time frustrated: “I have to recall that matter frequently, that kind of feeling...... is really not very good. One of my good friends left the human world because of this...... thinking about it now remains very traumatic, very sorrowful.”
“When the traffic accident just happened, I was most concerned about my two injury sites - one was on the neck, because artery, vein have bearings on life/living; second was whether the right eye would become blind. When I was lying inside the ambulance, was both afraid and disheartened. Eventually knew that survival was no problem, vision of the right eye gradually recovered as well, I could then set my mind at ease.”
About Surgery: Father Influenced Me GreatlyAftermath of traffic accident caused HuGe to face risk of disfigurement. “I was more or less psychologically prepared to some extent, but the instant I saw my own facial appearance, still couldn’t accept. I subsequently thought, appearance would at most affect acting career, at worst I just change profession. I could do editing, engage in graphic design, and could also study photography.”
“My father’s influence on me was quite great. He has been very calm, very strong throughout. He said that the biggest fortune was having the life preserved. I’m still young, no matter what I do in future, there will still be time for me to re-learn and choose. My mother was more anxious. She hoped that I could recover my former look. Might be that she felt rather proud to have given birth to such a son, heaven should return her an untainted original son......”
About Reconstruction: 3 Months of Carefree DaysThe 3 months in Hong Kong for reconstructive surgery, was termed by HuGe as “happy days”. “I rented a house by the sea, went marketing at the supermarket every day then returned ‘home’ to cook, followed by a stroll along the seashore after eating. During these 3 months, I’ve sat on all of Hong Kong’s transportation means, tram, bus, subway [MTR]......”
HuGe also has an all new understanding on life. “I especially feared death during childhood, now I’m not fearful. Life itself is frail; this is an ending which everybody has to face.”
About ZhangMin: Name My Elementary School After HerZhangMin, who died in the traffic accident, was HuGe’s good friend. “The first time that ZhangMin’s mother telephoned me was the second day after I got to know of ZhangMin’s death. ZhangMin usually call me by `LaoHu’. Aunt Zhang called me en route back to ShanDong: `LaoHu, don’t be sad, don’t cry, tears are not good for the wound......' An elderly person in that kind of situation still thought of consoling me......”
HuGe said that income from his new book "Blessed Junkman" would be use for the construction of an anticipated elementary school, “just use ZhangMin’s name for naming”.
About LOCH: Emotionally In Accord With GuoJing AlreadyThe new edition of "LOCH" is recommencing filming soon, HuGe said that he felt the pressure has shrunk. “I previously felt that my looks had a huge gap with GuoJing, was somewhat closer to YangKang. Presently however, I’m emotionally in accord with GuoJing. My life had been too plain sailing in the past, no tribulation no setback, now I could understand him. GuoJing has also experienced many bumps/hurdles before growing into a chivalrous person.”
