One Spring, the Shirogane High school appoints a new teacher, Yamaguchi Kumiko.

With her lame clothing and her glasses, she seems to be not the cleverest teacher
there is, and of all classes, she has to be assigned to the students of class 2-4,
famous for their rampancy and always causing nothing than trouble. She however is
discountenanced by nothing that happens - because she derivates from the head of a
Yakuza family, the Ôedos, where even a crying child keeps silent!

She hides her heritage and her father's profession in order to get her long aspired
job as a teacher, but since she was a little child she soaked in the sprit of
dignity, always keeping silent.

With her sense for justice and extraordinary strength, she solves every problem in
school with muscle power!
Yamaguchi Kumiko's nickname becomes Yankumi. From now on, she saves the weak and
breaks the strong and starts to forget her mildness while teaching!



well if you know GTO then you must see this this is like female verson of him but diffrent i think that you will enjoy this like i :sp4:

my japanese teacher at school showed us this drama, since its a drama about a teacher, my sensei could relate so she loved it. been trying to find downloads but none are direct...all bit torrent EWWW XP

i love part 1 better than part 2 and it has mastmujun as sawada shin, his relationship with yakumi is so cute. Part 2 seems bore to me. But if you part 2 then you don't miss much in part 1. The story is partly tha same, yakumi save her student.

oh...me had not watch it yet......seem to have lots of series now.....so busy watching lots of series....haha...

I never finished this series, but found it to be pretty funny and interesting. The only thing is that I wanted something to happen between Matsumoto Jun and the teacher, but nothing does. So it's sort of unresolved. Well, at least HYD satisfied my Matsumoto Jun craving.

I love this show. Very interesting and a good plot.

Gokusen I is great... Though the fightng scenes with Yankumi always seemed a big fake... XD
But I loved it... Also because of MatsuJun and Ogur Shun! I love these two... ^-^
