TOTAL CUTIES!!!! and not to mention GREAT chemistry in twfx....*sigh* i wish i was ariel in so many scenes....and man does ge ge look like a good kisser....lolz!!!

This is one of my fav shows, they really acted out very well and also got very good chemistry between two of them......some parts are quite cute and humorous too...overall the show is very very nice... lolgif

Love both of them! I became a fan of Hu Ge coz of his character Di Gua. Though they gave me a broken heart every time Xioa Qi goes up. Man! really really really cried every time I see Di Gua crying.... you kinda feel the pain he's going through! :(

*sigh* he looks like he's good....he didn't really "kiss" in cp....he just sorta touched lips with ady....it looked like neither of them had any muscles in their lips whatsoever....lolz!!! i think the cutest kiss in twfx was the one when they're flying in the iar with all the fireworks and everything....and on the tree afterwards..."jiu yi ci!!!" lolz....in liao zhai too, ge ge was really good.....check the yang mi and hu ge thread for pics of that scene....

this pair is so cute! this show made me fall in love with hu ge,haha. it was fantastic! too bad di gua and xiao qi didn't get together in the end, but i rkn that the modern scenes were nice. if only they'd develop the story of di gua and xiao qi more in the modern times,instead of having juz a few mins of it. maybe a TWFX 2? lol :rolleyes:

It would be great if they had a TWFX 2 in modern time. I would love to see them together again.

Yeah! definetely agreed with Qing and Yanyan as we say in filipino it's kinda "BITIN" (meaning really really asking for more) Di Gua and Xiao Qi's meeting in modern times... I'm like awww... is that it? Really wanna see how's Di Gua and Xiao Qi in moderns times....

I watched the show because he was in it. I haven't gotten to any modern time scenes yet so I have no idea what you guys are talking about. :mellow: It's really so far. I think he's a very convincing actor.

haha,dun worry,you'll get to see those scenes. those modern scenes are really at the end though,its the last part of the last episode. maybe by then,you would want a modern version of TWFX too,like us. :lol:

they will die eventually, but its just that time passes faster in heaven than on earth. so it takes them a whole lot longer to die than human.

it would have been awesome for them to have actually talked and thought about the past. it was cut too short. when i finished i was like "what, its over!!!!"

I watch finish the show.. but dont really understand the ending..where there is no lights and Xiao Qi's father, mother and herself look sad.. and then show the modern world where Lin Yi Chen's character says "Shi Ta" when she saw Hu Ge's character. Can someone explain the ending to me? Thanx.

its bassically that they can't he together in ancient times, soo 1000 or so years later, they meet again.

They both human in modern day time so that they can be together.

Or should I say fan zen

it such a great series, i need to watch it again sometime.

luvstarzx here my view for the ending!!! but i can't mistake because i am not chinese so i don't understand that much!!!!

Di Gua, at the end, light the lantern and he say's that he will light the lantern every night!!! And he also say, when he not there, his son has to light the lantern for him!!!! When time pass, the lantern didn't light anymore. So that mean, Di Gua and his son is already dead. Xiao Qi is very sad and the other too!!! Then is turning into modern time!!!! I think XQ came from heaven again (or she never say "it's him") to looking for her Di Gua!!!!

lol is only my opinion, maybe is not right!!!

Hmmmm ... interesting view ... I think the modern component was mainly to appease all the people depressed by their breakup ... prob giving out some message that 'true love never ends' or something like that ... who knows lolz ... but it was a good show! =D

Yep, that's how I see it as well but one thing I don't understand was how come it seem like the modern day Di Gua remembers her?? Unless, it's trying to tell us that true love will always remain in the heart...even when the memories are gone..

Hmmmm ... I think that as it is, it maintains a high degree of ambiguity which though it may frustrate some people, tis actually an effective and often used film technique just for the purpose of presenting a twist ending designed to accomodate empathetic viewers ... =P

Besides ... if there were to be a sequel ... what could happen in the sequel?? It might even ruin the reputation of the show like it did for "Huan Zhu Ge Ge" ... I mean when the 3rd one of that came out with a virtually new cast ... its supporters had significantly declined!!

So yeah ... I think it would be bettaz jus to leave it as it is even though I would like to know what happens next ... it leaves room for thought ... and people can imagine what could happen next ... that way the show will always leave a good impression in your mind!! =D Maybe though, if anyone can be bothered, you can write fanfics about it ... create your own satisfactory reuniting of the pair!! =P

awww I haven't finished watching but after reading the spoiler of the ending I feel sad already... bah! lol seems like this is going to be a tear jerking series *sighs* can anyone give me a detailed spoiler of the ending? like how the two of them meet etc? do they only kind of recognise each other but then without having them to actually communicate with each other they cut it off there? please someone explain to me >.< I'm so anxious right now... I hate sad stories cos it makes me sad too... but hehh.. this one is exceptional so yeah xp

mannn.. I so love this couple! They're the cutest! I thought that Ariel lin is the only actress who can act cute and is still very likable! Unlike some actresses who tried way too hard, she's very natural and stuff... I love her since ISWAK xp I've only started to like Hu ge since after starting with this series lol. I've never taken notice of him before heheh.. what a loss hey?

I really like Di Gua's character. Obedient to parents, loyal to the girl he loves, and is very cute! He seems to have the whole package! I think I'm falling for Di gua more than Hu ge himself xp [note in here that I'm refering to di gua's character]. He actually makes a really cute couple with Ariel lin. Ariel has this cute baby-ish face and when she's being mischievous... it looks even cuter! She really suits her role as Xiao Qi! and I think that XQ completes DG lol... she brings mischieves to Di gua's life who's like a goody goody type hahah...

lol!!!!! they only pass by!!! and Hu ge has feeling that they know each other!!! they don't say's a word but they smile at each other!!! is really short !!!

i think tat both di gua and xiao qi somehow felt that they knew each other. The ending was too short, i think it would have been better if they made it longer and if they actually talked. that would have made it happier.

lol maybe the director want suspence!!! make us wanna watch even more!!!! not satisfied the ending at alll
